- Info.
Uraga sits high in the Guji zone, where altitude, volcanic soil, and traditional farming all converge to produce some of Ethiopia’s cleanest washed profiles. This lot comes from Gogogu Washing Station, an established site run by Nigusse Debela and supplied by more than 400 smallholder farmers from the surrounding area. The station’s elevation and cool microclimate allow for longer fermentation and drying without compromising structure.
After hand sorting and de-pulping, cherries are fermented in ceramic tanks for up to 72 hours, then washed and dried slowly on raised beds. The result is crisp and balanced, with exactly the clarity you expect from great Ethiopian espresso.
Uraga is a classically Ethiopian profile from Guji. As espresso, it's vibrant and clean - citrus-led but easy to dial in and super approachable.
