Dongka is a family-run farm and washing station in the Menglian region of Yunnan, China - historically known for commercial-grade production, now setting a new standard for consistency in washed specialty coffee. In 2019, infrastructure upgrades led by Yunnan Coffee Traders supported the farm in scaling its output of higher-scoring lots.
This release marks the first time we’re bringing Dongka to WatchHouse. A remarkable washed Catimor, rooted in one of the world’s oldest civilizations and grown in one of its newest coffee frontiers.
Dongka’s precision-washed process delivers clarity and consistency - an exciting step forward for Yunnan specialty coffee.
