- Info.
Francisco Morales and his wife have farmed coffee in Cipresales, Huehuetenango for more than 40 years. Their farm, La Esperanza, has grown through persistence and care, and supporting their family and community. Francisco continues to refine his craft, recently experimenting with shade drying to improve clarity and green coffee longevity.
This lot comes from Los Naranjales, one of his earliest plots. Grown under orange and grevillea shade at 1,700 MaSL, it’s a washed mix of Caturra and Bourbon: clean, sweet, and structured. A reflection of long-held experience and the steady ambition to keep getting better.
This is the second time we've bought from Francisco. After visiting him earlier this year, it was clear to us that we wanted to share more of his coffees. They are testament to experience and continued ambition to learn.
