Wilder Garcia is a young coffee producer in Huabal, Cajamarca, Peru, managing 23 hectares, 16 of which are dedicated to coffee. Using a two-year cycle and pruning system, Wilder ensures consistent quality and yield. The region’s ideal climate and ample rainfall provides perfect conditions for growing exceptional coffee. In Peru, most farms are small, averaging just three hectares, and the lack of infrastructure can make transporting coffee costly and risky. To overcome this, our partners at Volcafe Peru run the VolcafeWay programme, offering farmers expert support to produce and deliver incredible coffees like this one.
