- Info.
Kiamabara is a washing station in Nyeri County, Kenya, serving around 3,000 smallholders farming at 1,900 MaSL. Most cultivate half-hectare plots intercropped with macadamia and beans. Fertile volcanic soil, distinct wet and dry seasons, and high elevation make this region ideal for vibrant, high-acidity coffees.
This washed lot of Batian, SL28, SL34 and Ruiru 11 is fermented and dried on raised beds with careful water management. Expect grapefruit brightness, blackcurrant depth and a caramel finish. This is a precise, high-elevation coffee - carefully processed, full of clarity, and a great example of what collective attention to detail can deliver.
We look forward to our Kenyan releases every year. They’re known for vibrant berry and citrus character, lifted acidity, and the kind of floral and caramel notes that bring real balance to the cup.
