Aeropress
- Aeropress
- Aeropress filter papers and cap
- 15gr of freshly ground coffee
- 220ml water
- Grinder
- Scales
- Timer
- Stirrer
- Kettle
- Mug or server
Preparation
- Insert plunger into AeroPress and flip it upside down.
- Rinse the filter with hot water and set aside.
- Add 15g of ground coffee to the AeroPress.
Blooming phase
- Start your timer and pour 60g of hot water.
- Stir gently to ensure all grounds are saturated.
- Allow to bloom for 30 seconds.
Brewing phase
- Pour up to 220g total water.
- Stir gently once more.
- Let it steep until 2:30 on the timer.
- Attach the filter cap securely.
- At 2:30, carefully flip the AeroPress onto your mug.
- Press slowly and evenly for 20–30 seconds, stopping when you hear a hissing sound.
