Teodolfo López grew up in Colombia’s Cauca region, where many farmers struggled with limited opportunities. Seeking a better future for his family, Teo relocated to Huila and began a coffee farm. Over time, they transitioned to more sustainable practices. Now, Teo is passionate about producing specialty coffee and hopes to pass this tradition on to his children.
At Los Naranjos, the coffee is handpicked, fermented for 60 to 90 hours, washed to remove mucilage, and slow-dried on raised beds. Teo prioritises sustainability by reducing water use and applying organic farming methods to care for the land.
It is an honour to share coffee from Finca Los Naranjos with coffee drinkers, transmitting all the passion and love that we feel from the moment that the land is irrigated to sowing a grain until the moment reaches the cup.
