- Info.
Aquiares is Costa Rica’s largest farm, set on the slopes of the Turrialba volcano and known for its progressive approach to community and quality. This lot uses Mariana, a seed-propagated F1 hybrid developed for high cup potential and resilience. It's grown at 1400m and processed on site using the red honey method.
With much of the fruit mucilage left on during drying, red honey brings a dense sweetness and layered texture to the final cup. Expect yellow apple acidity, soft caramel, and a clean almond finish. Filter-brewed, it’s complex but still easy to enjoy.
This Mariana variety from Aquiares is the perfect choice for our Rituals filter range. It's fruity, balanced and super sweet - my current easy morning coffee that I can't get enough of.
