Today, Bette Buna operates farms in the coffee-growing regions of Guji, Yirgacheffe, Sidama, and Bench Maji, as well as sourcing coffee from allied farmers throughout these regions.

Generally, coffee growing regions in Ethiopia falls within an elevation range of 1,200 to 2,400 MaSL. The high altitudes and varied microclimates provide ideal conditions for slow cherry ripening, which results in complex flavors and acidity. These coffees are celebrated for their intricate flavor profiles. These include floral, fruity, citrusy characteristics. These complex flavours are a direct result of the unique terroir and varietals.
