Gerse offers a taste of Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia, with coffee sourced from smallholder farmers and processed at the Nigusse Debela washing station. After careful sorting, the coffee cherries are sun-dried with their skins intact until they reach a precise 12% moisture. This natural process brings out vibrant notes of raspberry and orange, complemented by a smooth, cashew-like texture. Once dried, the outer layers are gently removed, and the beans are stored to preserve freshness.
