The Duran family farm is in the village of Sarchí in the West Valley. Eduardo works the farm with his three sons Barney, Kendall and Arnold, who all show a great passion for coffee and continuing the work their father has been doing for decades. A varietal not often seen, this coffee is complex with a high flavour intensity that’s both funky and clean.

Costa Rica.

Costa Rica has two main seasons, dry and wet. The environment is predominantly mountainous with enormous rainforests and cinematic coastlines. This country cultivates only Arabica varietals, including Typica and Bourbon, as well as newer, disease-resistant varietals such as Villa Sarchí and SL28. The coffee farms are frequently situated at elevations ranging from 1,200 to 1,700 MaSL. Costa Rican coffees are known for its bright acidity, clean cup profile, and a well-rounded body. Common flavour notes include citrus, floral, and fruity understonesm along with pleasant sweetness, often reminiscent of honey or caramel.
