Costa Rican coffees are renowned for their interesting, unusual profiles and this H17 lot from Los Duran is no exception. It’s funky with juicy tangerine acidity, soda-like flavours reminiscent of Sprite and a lingering Lavender aftertaste. We’ve never tasted anything like it.

Origins.
Costa Rica.

Costa Rica has two main seasons, dry and wet. The environment is predominantly mountainous with enormous rainforests and cinematic coastlines. This country cultivates only Arabica varietals, including Typica and Bourbon, as well as newer, disease-resistant varietals such as Villa Sarchí and SL28. The coffee farms are frequently situated at elevations ranging from 1,200 to 1,700 MaSL. Costa Rican coffees is known for its bright acidity, clean cup profile, and a well-rounded body. Common flavour notes include citrus, floral, and fruity understonesm along with pleasant sweetness, often reminiscent of honey or caramel.
