Huabal, nestled in Jaén, Cajamarca, boasts stunning landscapes framed by the Huancabamba-Chamaya Basin and the Andean range. Known for specialty coffee, its climate combines year-round warmth, altitude, and ample rainfall, yielding high-quality coffee. Asdruval Dominguez Barreto, born in Piura in 1979, ventured into coffee upon settling in Santa Rosa in 2000, where he met his wife and raised four children, all involved in coffee. With dedication, Asdruval and his family have upheld traditional farming practices on their 2.5-hectare farm, continuously improving coffee quality. Since 2014, their farm has been part of the Volcafe Way program, enhancing sustainability and productivity.
